I started Pristine Designs in 1992 with wood frame home designs and added barndominiums in 2003. I have hands on experience in construction. I currently deal with 20+ builders and my custom work comes from referrals.
Barndominiums
Barndominiums can be designed with 4.25" to 12" thick exterior walls. The metal building structure should be engineered by your building supplier to meet local building codes. Barndos are highly energy efficient as they have the potential to be 2-3 times the energy efficiency of a wood frame home.

Pricing
Barndominium plans range from 75 to 95 cents per SF. We can start with your rough sketch or modify an existing plan. Preliminary work is 35 cents per sf and will be counted towards the finished plan. It comes with the dimensions, electrical locations , plumbing fixture locations , cabinet locations and details, window & doors location / sizes and elevations. Any engineering will need to come from a local engineer. The metal building supplier will engineer the metal structure.
